Kevin Kim is an attorney in the corporate transactions and securities sections of the firm. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Kim graduated from the University of California, Berkeley where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and was a leader with a major student organization on campus.
Afterwards, Mr. Kim went to work with Korean community banks as a commercial loan officer specializing in real estate finance and business loans. While attending Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, Mr. Kim served as an extern with the United States Small Business Administration where he analyzed loan documents to ensure proper collateralization pursuant to SBA regulations. Mr. Kim also interned at the United States Securities & Exchange Commission’s Enforcement Division where he assisted in investigating major securities fraud and insider trading cases
In 2009, Mr. Kim was admitted to the California Bar and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
Mr. Kim previously worked for a boutique law firm in Koreatown, Los Angeles which specialized in cross-border transactions, real estate transactions, securities compliance and bank law. As part of the Geraci Law Firm corporate transactions and securities section, Mr. Kim specializes in corporate compliance, corporate governance, and securities laws and regulations. In his spare time, Mr. Kim enjoys playing golf and cooking.
