Shen Bao was born and raised in Shanghai, China where she attended a prestigious high school in the Changning District. After high school, she enrolled at the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics majoring in supply chain management. During the three semesters she attended Shanghai University, Shen was motivated to better understand the global economy by gaining some first hand experience with other cultures. To enhance her educational experience, Shen made the decision to move to the United States to study accounting at Baylor University. After graduating from Baylor, Shen was encouraged to continue her education by enrolling in graduate school at George Washington University to obtain her Masters in Accounting. Shen is active in extracurricular activities and enjoys researching local companies and their role in the marketplace as well as visiting with her friends. During summer vacations Shen has interned with Shanghai People’s court and East West Bank interacting with all levels of the organization as well as clients, most of whom are Chinese American. Shen is also very familiar with civil law in China. Shen has an excellent role model in her mother, who is the Vice President of the District People’s Court of Xuhui.
